Custom colors override the palette<\/h3>\n\n\n
If you set any of the four individual color fields below the palette dropdown, that color wins<\/strong> over the palette default. This lets you use Sunset Orange’s primary but the cream Emerald background, for example. Leave them blank to use the palette as-is.<\/p>\n\n\n
The theme auto-derives a --bc-primary-dark<\/code> variant for hover states by darkening the primary by 18% \u2014 no need to set it manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hero section<\/h2>\n\n\n
The hero is the most-seen section on your site. Tune it carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n
Eyebrow text<\/h3>\n\n\n
The small uppercase line above the headline (default: “TRUSTED LOCAL MARKETPLACE”). Keep it short \u2014 2\u20134 words. This is your positioning statement.<\/p>\n\n\n
Headline<\/h3>\n\n\n
Use HTML <em><\/code> to italicize the punchy word. Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n
The italic word picks up the primary color automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n
Subtitle<\/h3>\n\n\n
One or two sentences explaining what your marketplace does. Avoid feature lists here \u2014 focus on the benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n
Search placeholder<\/h3>\n\n\n
Defaults to “Search vehicles, property, electronics\u2026” \u2014 adjust based on your top categories. Don’t write more than 5\u20136 words; mobile truncates anything longer.<\/p>\n\n\n
“Post Free Ad” button URL<\/h3>\n\n\n
This is the CTA in the header and homepage. Setting it here overrides the smart routing the Pro plugin provides. Leave blank (or #<\/code>) and Pro will route automatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To \/post-a-listing\/<\/code> if it exists<\/li>\n
To login (with redirect back) if the user is logged out<\/li>\n

Pro adds a Font combo<\/strong> dropdown with 6 curated pairings:<\/p>\n\n\n
All fonts are self-hosted (no Google Fonts CDN calls \u2014 good for GDPR and PageSpeed). Switch any time without breaking layout.<\/p>\n\n

Saving and rolling back<\/h2>\n\n\n

Publish<\/strong> commits the change site-wide.<\/li>\n
Save Draft<\/strong> keeps changes pending; visitors still see the published version.<\/li>\n
Schedule<\/strong> publishes at a future date \u2014 useful for seasonal palette swaps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
If you publish something you regret, the customizer doesn’t have built-in version history. Make a snapshot in wp_options<\/code> before big changes:<\/p>\n\n\n
