Install the free MyWiki theme from WordPress.org and activate the Pro plugin in under five minutes.

MyWiki is a documentation and knowledge base theme for WordPress. The free theme ships everything you need to publish polished docs. The Pro plugin adds premium skins, the Command-K search modal, font pairings, demo content, and search analytics.

Install the free theme

From your WordPress admin, go to Appearance u2192 Themes u2192 Add New and search for MyWiki. Click Install, then Activate.

Or install it the WP-CLI way:

wp theme install mywiki --activate

Install MyWiki Pro

If you’ve purchased MyWiki Pro, you’ll have a zip file delivered to your email along with a license key. To install:

  1. Go to Plugins u2192 Add New u2192 Upload Plugin
  2. Choose the mywiki-pro.zip file
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate
  4. Visit Appearance u2192 MyWiki Pro License to enter your license key

MyWiki Pro requires the free MyWiki theme. The plugin won’t activate without it.

What happens next

Once both are active, head to Appearance u2192 Customize u2192 MyWiki Theme Options. You’ll see new sections for Skin, Typography, Colors, and Search. The next guide walks you through the demo importer and your first homepage.
